P3D not “synching” to 30Hz monitor

OK will try this again as I see autocorret  chopped off what I was saying.  

Check to make sure g-sync is turned off in your Nvidia control panel. That was causing issues for me when trying to get my 3 projectors to play nice at 30hz

In P3D set frame rate to "unlimited", VSync On.

As an experiment, I flew yesterday with just the NVCP settings enabled for Vsync and TB and left the corresponding P3D settings off.

I couldn't detect any difference. It does look as if the results are very system dependent.

This is the craziest thing. So, I have reset the NCP settings to default. Set my monitor to 30Hz. In P3D, Vsynch ON TB ON and I’m locked at 15 FPS. Tried to turn it off and on again, same results. However, if I switch both Vsynch and TB OFF, I’m locked at 30 FPS with butter smooth performance. 🧐

What cable are you using? I’m using a Display Port cable. If you have one with the BenQ try that.

Standard HDMI. Will try with the display port.

DP to HDMI cable here.  I'm on a 55" 4K TV, so no DP option at the monitor.
