SimBrief for the new 777?

Featured Replies

Hello, has there been a SimBrief Downloader Format file released?  Or do I somehow add a folder for the 777?

Thanks.

Old school man.  Go with the new Working Title route planner !

So is that a no, that there isn’t a SimBrief profile?  And I like being old school.

There is. It is the same format as the 737 uses.

All Mathis said was that there was one but when I run SimBrief I see a bunch of different companies’s planes as well as my PMDG 737 but nowhere do I see the 777.  I reckon I must be doing something wrong.

Huh?  I don’t understand how this relates to asking about a SimBrief profile.  Sorry.

When you go to the new airframe section search for the 777 and you will see all the options, when you select the 777-300ER there is an option for the PMDG 777 although reading on their forums I believe the standard 777-300ER profile is OK to use.

Save whatever selection you make and then the profile will be available when you plan a new flight.

You don't need to use the downloader for the 777 (or the 737) anymore, it will load the flightplan right from the site directly into the sim, which does have a PMDG profile.

Yeah sorry, I missed that you mentioned the downloader, but you don't need to use the downloader anymore. Both the 777 and the 737 since the EFB update (IIRC) can import the flight plan directly from the internet.

Not for the winds. Thus, you still need it. For 737 for sure. I'm yet to purchase 777
