July 16, 20241 yr What is up with the latest update. Every time I load the game from my default PMDG 737-800 it is cold and dark and nothing works.. I have to restart it every time. Also when I try to go back to the main menu it just sits there and never returns to the main menu. I have to Control Delete and use the task manager to get out of MSFS. Someone has screwed this update up....... Anyone have any ideas in how to fix this....???

Known bug introduced in SU15 and it's annoying, I know. When you start the flight and all displays are dark and nothing works, hit ESC and select to restart the flight and it'll come back. You don't have to go back to the main menu or restart the sim. Jacek G. July 16, 20241 yr After 2 months, 737 simmers are still waiting for the now COLDfix to Finally fix this annoying issue. As stated previously, the fix is to restart the flight. However if your sim is anything like others, including mine, the Aircraft settings in the FMC all get randomized and you have to go and check about 25 FMC pages! http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

Maybe I'm not understanding the problem, but can't you depress 'MENU' on the FMC and select a new Start up panel without restarting the flight?

July 16, 20241 yr I don't understand why PMDG didn't issue a patch for this a long time ago. All I read is they're doing great w/ sales financially so why this? Annoys me too that freeware FBW 320nx implemented keyboard entry as PMDG did in FSX/P3D, but PMDG has not for MSFS.
