MSFS Is today's Destination your tomorrow's Departure?

For those that like a continuous set of legs to fly. I posted this a while ago in a different thread.

My current favorite is  https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/random-flight-generator/270848

This will generate multi-leg flights in a sequence, ie  A to B , B to C, C to D..... up to 10 legs with various options.

I believe pretty much every airport in the world is contained in the accompanying data base file, airports.adb.  This file is built from the spreadsheet file airports.csv which can be opened and viewed. What I've found is that if you delete the database file, the program will generate a new one from the spreadsheet file. You can therefore create a new airports.csv file, after backing up the original, and copy and paste only those airports you are interested in into the new file. Pretty sweet.

No. I start where I choose to. Following on, as in real life, is more realistic of course, but it is also time consuming. One new place each flight instead of two with a new flight.  I also

  • I always fly on A Pilots LIfe and usually fly continuous trips, departing from where I just landed.

  • If I use Neo Fly then YES!

Original post:
"With how you fly MSFS, is where you fly to the point you depart from with your next flight.  As in real world"

Where did I say choosing to ONLY depart from?   All I asked is shouldn't that airport last flown into be among those in the suggested list of departures for the next flight.  There is no "only" in that queston.  Its merely please list it as a choice rather than instead listing again the last three airports you flew out of.

Your question doesn't reference a menu, or lists, at all.  So I'm not sure how you think you asked anything about a menu or lists?

Read your original post.  And then ask yourself: if the point you're departing from is dictated by the point of last landing - how could you depart from anywhere else?  Then your departure would NOT be the point of last landing.

That's where the "only" comes from.  You asked if people takeoff from where they last landed.  I do not in the sim, as that seems extremely limiting and is the opposite of the reason I use a sim, that's all.

If you want this question to be about a menu, you're going to have to go back and edit your original post, because it doesn't even mention menus or lists.

I mostly continue from where i landed. In World Map you can select the previous destination and then flip the Route, so the desitination becomes the departure Airport.

When I'm doing one of my long GA trips.

Longest was from northern Alaska, down the West Coast, inland to the Mid West, then ending at Edmonton.

Took a few weeks on and off!
