I just got BATC yesterday and am already on my 3rd A Pilots life flight. It is superb.

Yes, decided to try BATC. It is awesome..  

A myriad of new solutions appear to be hitting the market at the same time.  I'm currently using just FSHUD and FSLTL.

I'm assuming as of right now there's no solution to have voice recognition, and intelligent AI traffic that avoids you at the same time, and that you can also hear?

If you are interested Bob, you can still load FSHud and FSLTL
Just load your flight in FSHud and start FSLTL.

Bring the sound down a bit and you get radio shatter and traffic. Not perfect, but better then nothing.

 

P.S.  I forget if you have to ask for clearance for traffic to appear, but you will figure it out.

FS HUD is reported to put a big load on CPUs' so not interested. I have used FSLTL for a long time, and really like it.

Correct.

Sometime early September FSHUD will be having a beta for voice recognition and better accents.

Also, how are you folks who mix traffic with BATC enjoying it? You you just kinda roll with the AI getting in your way? The one time I tried FSHUD/BATC with FSLTL I had a runway incursion.

I enjoy it. But yeah, far from a perfect solution.

I just roll with it. Its not a big deal for me as long as the airport feels alive.

It all depends on the individual wants and needs.

 

 

 

 

I use BATC and FSLTL together but I set the IFR and VFR traffic to zero and up the number of parked aircraft at the gates so airports look busy. I do miss moving traffic but the number of flights that got messed up by having no idea what the AI was doing drove me nuts. 
Seems we don’t have long to wait for BATC to include traffic anyhow. I did try FSHUD and it wasn’t bad but it absolutely hammered my rig.
