November 2, 20241 yr Another thing I want to ask regarding the iFly 737 MAX version of the CDU, for those labels being highlighted when looking at the CDU in the aircraft, those same labels are instead dimmed when looking at the tablet. To give you an example, you see this when for instance loading a flight plan. Where the 'Load' label on the screen will show this behavior. Any chance these could instead be highlighted in the same way they are in the aircraft?

November 3, 20241 yr @marcom Here you go, first one what it looks like in the aircraft and second one what it looks like on my tablet using your software. As you can see, what is highlighted in the aircraft is instead "dimmed" on the tablet. Where having it highlighted makes sense since it's about drawing your attention to what has been completed and where you're supposed to press next. In this case the LSK next to 'Load' but you will see the same behavior in all other places as well in a similar fashion as soon as something is highlighted. Aircraft: Tablet using aviaServer:

I just tried restarting AviaServer to allow it to auto-update but didn't see that happen and when I just tried to fetch the DES WINDS on the DES FORECASTS page, I noticed how the REQUEST label is still dimmed on my tablet where it's highlighted in the aircraft.

You almost had it - the first launch will download the update in the background. Once this is done, just restart aviaServer and the new version will automatically be installed. As to how long you need to wait before stopping aivaServer, that will depend on your internet connection. Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com

June 6, 20251 yr Would you consider adapting your 737 remote overhead to work with the iFly 737 MAX? 😊
June 6, 20251 yr Works as is for me on every flight. There may be a button or 2 that aren't exactly like the aircraft FMC but it does work very well. The reason it works is because there is, and has been a license available for it for some time. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
June 6, 20251 yr I'm having an annoying issue where the connection constantly is lost over and over again and I see a message how it's trying to reconnect. Which usually is successful within a couple of seconds and sometimes longer. No big deal since it always manages to reconnect but as said, still quite annoying and especially when it happens during a busy stage of the flight. Any ideas why this happens and if there's anything I can do to fix it and ensure a continuous and stable connection?
June 6, 20251 yr Anyone else getting the CDU freezing then check and it has the wrong ip. It starts fine then freezes, cdu work within program but just freeze on my tablet. I now check and it shows wrong ip restarting program aviaserver but still frozen. It has happened the last 2 flights. It does show I am connected. Edited June 6, 20251 yr by Darcy
June 9, 2025Jun 9 Quote Would you consider adapting your 737 remote overhead to work with the iFly 737 MAX? 😊 Quote Works as is for me on every flight. I was asking about whether the remote overhead for the 737 MAX is in the planning, but that's not yet working, is it?
