October 12, 20241 yr For some reason, and I'm sure it's finger trouble somewhere along the line, but after creating a flight plan in Simbrief and then importing into the PMDG 738, BATC reads the flight as Airbus653 and not Boeing. Does anone have any idea what the issue may be? Cheers. October 12, 20241 yr Had the same problem first time I flew an airliner with BATC. Put the 2 letter IATA code in for the callsign instead of the 3 letter ICAO code. Was confused the whole flight. 🤣
October 12, 20241 yr Shows that none of you flew with online ATC before. Callsigns in flightplans are always ICAO Standard. That's how you file. IATA is for us cattle in the cabin. 😉 Edited October 12, 20241 yr by Farlis

Just in a flight from LDSP down to LGAV and have filed a flight plan with Air Berlin and used the code AB653 but it's still reading it as Airbus53. What am I doing wrong? You used the IATA code, correct ICAO callsign would be BER653.
