Msfs 2024 can't get joystick to work.

Well I downloaded the Alpha but it sees my joystick but when I try to save settings and load flight it reverts to mouse control. I can't save it to my Logitech extreme 3d pro. Any ideas?

Sounds like you discovered a bug.

I agree it's a bit frustrating. I had a lot of trouble set up my joystick yesterday. I ended up restarting sim several times and somehow it started to work as expected.

I dont really understand this.  If you are part of a closed testing group, why would you be posting in this public forum.  I would assume that MS has their own dedicated reporting system for this (as it is the goal of testing).  I am not even sure why AVSIM would allow this type of thing.

Dude it was just a question. People are already posting screenshots there's no NDA.

?

This isn't what you think it is. There is no bug reporting required for this Alpha technical test. Microsoft specifically warns there will be bugs and crashes. There is no NDA either.

Microsoft want to stress test their servers and the core sim performance by telemetry only. Merely participating in this Alpha provides useful information to Microsoft.

I had issues with the assignments on the tech alpha. I restarted the simulator and discovered that the bindings started working. It seems like it has something to do with the limited build they sent.
