Is Rex Atmos causing CTD

REX did look into the issue but was not able to replicate the CTD’s.

And as there are only a few users experiencing CTD’s it probably is something on their end…

If they experience CTD's only when Atmos is running, then Atmos is the cause.

Absolutely not. Atmos is the drop that causes a less stable system to crash.

Modifying shaders in realtime will stress the system harder than a simple addon. With PTA it was the same. Some people could not use it as their system would crash.

Less stable system are you sure,i never had a CTD in well over 12 months of daily simming,that was until i installed Atmos then 50% of my flights would end with a crash.Since Atmos was totally removed from my system a week ago my sim is back to being totally stable again.

maybe  atmos  just pushed your  system over  the  edge  and  just maybe  it  one  of  your other  addon  is  the  root  cause  of  the  crash

Do you have evidence of this “investigation”? I raised a ticket and wasn’t even asked for my logs. Their suggestion was to “lower my graphic settings by 10% and try again”.

So all of us with CTDs are simming for years without an issue and then atoms crashed all our systems and you point the finger at our systems? That’s laughable.

What a ridiclous comment,please read the numerous posts that everyone who is experiencing issues with Atmos, most if not all never had a problem with their sim crashing until installing Atmos.

So when you learn about a system that works flawlessly except when one piece of software runs, you think that the system is at fault, not that software.

If I were you I would do a search for Westman.

He knows more about pc’s , tuning and building stable systems than anyone I know….,

Summary : in your view you are having a stable system and REX Atmos is buggy.

If your stable system can’t run REX Atmos, what is your opinion about all those systems that can run it without issues ?

So according to this Westman guy,im lying about have a stable system,which raises the question why would i,i started this thread because i did have a stable system that was until i installed Atmos and my sim started to crash,so i asked the question on here,Is Rex Atmos causing a CTD,it turns out that quite a few people are experiencing the same issue with Atmos,are they lying as well about having a stable system.
