I decided to buy the C208 from Carenado. Nice airplane although it's already quite old. Don't regret buying it. I have one question. Is it possible to start the plane in cold and dark mode. Tried the SHIFT+1 up to SHIFT+5 but didn't find it. Perhaps a mod available?

Try shift+E or control +E.

I know you've got the C208 but I paid for the MilViz PC6 and the TurboOtter. Skip the TurboOtter even for free. It's a dog. I love the PC6 though and it's my favorite bush plane. Give it a try.

Yes I also have the free PC6 from Milviz. Have not used it much, but I will also give it a try soon.

The Milviz freebees are pretty great (given they are free) and even better when suitably patched (like the DHC2),

Note if you option the Milviz the DHC3 Turbo Otter, be aware it's a plane that *MUST* be flown with engine gauges always in the green lest the engine fail in a very short time, it's probably a bit overdone in this regard.

And there are a few patches for Carenardo/Alabeo aircraft.

e.g. The Steam Gauge version of the Carenardo 208B and the Pilatus PC12 are both single engine turbo prop aircraft where there are improvement patches available (see vids).

There are others too, like the twin engined 690B TURBO COMMANDER and the Alabeo C421 C GOLDEN EAGLE.

Cheers

Hi Rogen,

Thank you very much for the tips about sound immersion for the C208B. Didn't know it existed. Installed it; great sounds. I knew alredy about the GPS patch and the FDE patch and installed it right from the beginning.
