Funny Aston Martin fake response.

Thanks for the reminder.

That's not a response to the juh-GOO-are ad as I saw it a few years ago.  And if it's not a real advertisement for Aston Martin, it should be. 🙂

It's taken me a couple of days to get up the nerve to post this.

I asked my wife if she'd seen the Jaguar ad (she watches TV, I don't) and she hadn't.  I described it to her in... a few short words that I shall not repeat here.  Then I described the Volvo ad.  But when I got to the punch line, I couldn't continue.  "Are you OK?  Do you need to sit down?"  It took three tries to be able to say it.  A day later I was able to describe it to my son with no problem.

It's not often something affects me that much.  Probably a good thing.  And if it hadn't been preceded by the Jaguar ad I probably wouldn't have even noticed.

And, funny thing, I never even liked Volvo that much.  I'm sure it's a very good car, at least equal to Mercedes when those cars were still top of the line, but it's always been the Liberal Limousine.  Apparently the Overton Window has shifted so much they're now staunchly conservative.

I've owned three Mercedes, all pre-owned and bought for a very good price.  I wasn't the first, but I really didn't care. 😄
