BATC caused some of my ENG 1 shut off issues.

Featured Replies

It seems worse in FS24, but I was getting a lot of random ENG 1 shutdowns. I was thinking it was the sim, or INI, but it turns out to be BATC. From their patch notes:

Fix - Bug that could cause the players number one engine to shutdown. If this bug caused you some unexpected emergency training, we're sorry and you're welcome 🙂

I didn't have an engine shutdown, but I did have a fault on my engine 1 Anti-Ice on the Fenix yesterday I couldn't find a cause for, I wonder if that's related.

alos here, no troubles that could be from BATC.
(only in Freeflight, Flight1-RJ Pro)

Oh that's interesting, I had a bunch in the iFly MAX in FS20...maybe this was the culprit.

YEah. I wonder how long it's been there. I remember having some ENG1 isseues in the Fenix a while ago. I was blaming all my bindings, settings, SPAD, mercury in retrograde. Never imagined it would be an ATC issue.

Yes it was a rare bug introduced in the pre-latest update and fixed with today's update. So all good again

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
