Sometimes even flightdeck2sim does MSFS vids 🙂 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

He likes to play devil's advocate with both sims when it comes to appearance of aircraft, sometimes a little bit too much IMO with X-plane when it comes to the texture and price point when it appear he is being fair to the sim fans on the other side that will satisfy that audience sometimes overplaying his hand since some of them fly both sims. Especially when his emphasis on appearances over shadows the overall functionality of the aircraft and value place on systems and less on highlighting other addon that work with the aircraft and its function. What happens sometimes the developers will come on there to point out those things to educate him and the audience on how the aircraft works and it mission behind the development which is very helpful in promoting the aircraft. I think that's what he doing be more of since that is where his heart is and his audience is reminding him of it. There a more of them who are flying both sims and want to learn more about what makes that aircraft unique that makes a developer wanting to product such an aircraft and why for a such as smaller market. But also what makes the aircraft special that makes someone want to buy it not just run from it just because they can't read the fine print on the toilet seat or for somethings many would go unnoticed, unless it is really bad. Cpt Canada, Jeff Favignano and BelGeode and V1 all use to fly aircraft for X-plane. I wonder what their audience is asking this these days. 😆
December 27, 20241 yr Moderator I sometimes find him difficult to watch because many of his videos are recordings of live sessions and the constant pauses/interruption with "Oh hey John nice to see you, Hi Frank, how are you?" can be pretty distracting, however sometimes he is the only one reviewing certain XP products and I've used his videos many times when deciding to buy a product or not. I like that he covers the graphics in detail and will do a full flight, he also isn't afraid to call out issues despite getting the products for free. I watch him much less for MFS content as there is plenty of that from other Youtubers (Jeff Favignano being one of my favourites)

MS gets enough attention, almost too much than they deserve if you ask me.

January 2, 20251 yr I left a comment in the latest stream if he can review the "King Air C90B EVO, G1000 Blackhawk 1.1" for X-Plane 12. This is a freeware project gaining traction where I the author is working very hard and updating the aircraft almost weekly. Sadly this comment go deleted and not sure if this is a conflict of interest with sponsor or the bot deleted any comments with a link. In general, I see influence are reluctant to cover freeware unless it is a mega project like FBW A320 or Zibo that are impossible to ignore. I've never been able to post any links in comments on Youtube (including to other videos), so probably best to PM him

That's because of the link for sure, he's one of the few youtubers that you can really feel love for what he does. Most youtubers and supposed professional influencer pilots are clearly looking for views over quality. I bought several addon influenced by them like Phoenix or PMDG DC6 and what a disappointment both of them. Fenix today is a marvel for the price it has but when it came out it was compared with FSlabs or Toliss, many of us took the bait.
January 3, 20251 yr For some reason, I don't like his videos. Give me flightdeck2sim or Into The Blue Simulations any time. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
