2024 End of the Year Flight

We're taking some big whigs to NYC to PARTAAAAAY haha!

Routing is KSYR LVZ LVZ5 KTEB (ILS 19R).

We've got our sweet paint by master TimHH, NYC by SamScene, Syracuse airport by Verticalsim and Teterboro airport by Dreamflight.  (And yes, my PC needs more RAM - we hit 40GB on approach!)

Let's get these chocks off and get her fired up!

The PC-24 climbs like crazy - we're fairly light and about to hit 5500 fpm!

As soon as we contact departure and head towards LVZ we're basically handed off to center as we climb to FL230

Here we go!  Oneida Lake in the background (the largest lake in NY state)

We've been instructed to cross LVZ at FL180 - stuck in that in "the computer"

We got some soup ahead but nothing out of the ordinary, we'll setup for the ILS RY 19 via STRAD

I just love the native 2024 obstructions now

A sunny pocket gives some nice backlighting for Tim's stunning paint!  Some day when Asobo fixes dynamic registration, you'll be able to enter anything on the nacelles here.

Great looking PC-24 flight Mr. Ryan. Btw, how is FS2024 working for you?

It's a rollercoaster.  When it works it's spectacular far better than 2020.  When it doesn't (stupid bugs or random CTDs) it's worse!

I don't see anything being "spectacular far better" than in 2020 currently. For me 2024 is an attermpt to create a new platform which is

more suitable for upcoming streaming technology. And this will hopefully improve the msfs world further more in the future.

But currently 2024 has greatest difficulties to keep with 2020 (which is rather good since the last patches).

By the way: If you have issues with your 32gb RAM you can certainly reduce some settings without a large disadvantage.

It runs rather well with some settings being a bit reduced. I run it with 16gb and lower settings and have no ctd.

Thanks.  We may have a breakthrough with the tail numbers - might be able to paint them on afterall.  I prefer that for realism.  Likely I'll keep a dynamic option so when Asobo fixes their stupid bug, people can fly with whatever.

Wow...is that a Pilatus "Jet"...🙂....to help you wrap up your last flight of MSFS2024...in 2024...?

Looks gorgeous...who needs that (mundane) PC-12 turboprop...🙂....

Liked #3 from bottom, as you're landing.... past all those little jets on the ground...

Thanks for sharing.
