What happened to JPLogistics and their Cessna 152?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone know what happened to this project? Their Discord server suddenly disappeared, and I think they withdrew their files from fs.to during the licensing drama...

I think they moved to a different Discord server ... sorry can't tell you the name as just working from memory of something I read the other day. I'm sure you'll find the new server with a bit of searching. Cheers!

Found it ... Discord server is "WB SIM".

They moved it to the WB Sim discord channel. and good news, looks like a new 152 update is in the works. Not sure, but now it should be the same dev of the gauge 172 working on it.

Edit:

Ops, looks like we posted at the same time 🤣

Thanks guys, I knew the two projects were related, but I didn't follow WB Sim. Do you, by any chance, have a current invite?

As stated previously:

  • The JPLogistics 152 Discord server is now on the WB-Sim https://discord.gg/WCnaQvgs
  • The WB-Sim C172 is not under development anymore ;(
  • An update for MSFS2024 for the JPLogistics 152 is expected. And yes, so far it's the v2.0.6 from 2023 which is current (despite I've been told off by simmers somewhere "oh! Stop sharing 2023 links!" 😉

BTW, I'm sure you're busy updating your California airports for MSFS 2024, but if you're ever looking for new projects, there's an old classic that has yet to be revived for the new sim: KBVS 😉

In previous FS editions? Have no memory of it and never flew there in real (just overfly in a very bad bad VFR trip). Will have a look, thanks ! End of Off topic.

Absolutely love JP Logistics/WB Sim 152. For freeware as well! I fly this more often than the A2A Comanche. Don't tell anyone!

I loved the orbx version of skajit.  Wonder why orbx kinda stopped making those little PNW airports.  They have a few for 2020 like S43 which is quite nice...but most are their 2020 ports from p3d

Skagit would be awesome as 3rd party (or freeware). I think Orbx have the nearby 3W5 Concrete. Great starting points for sightseeing flights in the area. Probably not in the 152 though - it’s a great mod, but a bit slow for my taste 🙂

A fan of the PNW places! There are several gems from freeware (the to site) that I like from 2020.

Thanks for the assist!
