January 16, 20251 yr Looking to buy this. As the ms2020 simulation of terb is garbage. I have active sky yet its the same. Is it worth it? Thanks Mike
January 16, 20251 yr Works nicely for me. Needs a bit of tweaking/experimenting with but worth the asking price, IMO. 👍 MSI Pro Z690-A DDR4 | i5 13600KF | G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB 3600MHz | RTX 3080 (12GB) | Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe 500GB | Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe 1TB | Samsung 850EVO 500GB | Crucial P3+ 2TB NVMe | 2TB Seagate HDD | Deepcool AK500 CPU Cooler | Thrustmaster T16000M HOTAS | CH Yoke | Various Winctrl hardware | 21:9 1440p UW monitor | Win 11 23H2 build | MSFS2020 | Tony K.
January 16, 20251 yr I thought the idea of buying (a turbulence package) was complete nonsense. But I took a chance based on the commentary of others and it made a somewhat pleasant and plausible difference to the experience of turbulence (in the right conditions). I was impressed. But I have become so used to having it, I forget that it's now running in the background....and not part of the sim itself.
January 16, 20251 yr More info in this recent post. I bought Realturb as it was recommeded by FSL, but I haven't flown in conditions that would demonstrate it yet. January 16, 20251 yr RealTurb and ASFS are excellent addons for MSFS 2020 / 24. The combination RealTurb + ASFS does for my FS 2024 what xEnviro does for X-Plane 12. January 16, 20251 yr I use RealTurb and MSFS Weather by default. I'm thinking of using activesky soon to try... But on the other hand I noticed when preparing flights, I use Navigraph and when I look at the weather tab turbulence often, I pass zones (gray or yellow) in cruise FL340 (I only fly with the Fenix) and well , I often have 0 turbulence, it's a bit of a shame, because we could anticipate areas of turbulence thanks to that, but 99% of the time, it's calm...
