January 25, 20251 yr I have the Thrustmaster TCA Joystick and throttle pack AND an old CH Flight yoke. I haven't bought FS2024 yet, but when I do (and I will at some point), can I have both plugged in at the same time, or do I have to unplug the yoke if I want to use the Tca, and visa versa? Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. January 25, 20251 yr Yes, now you can for each of the planes has its own joystick settings that loads when you load the plane. So every time you load your Airbus, your TCA will be on and CH off etc..
January 25, 20251 yr I switch between Yoke and separate HOTAS for flight controls but utilise either one when flying specific aircraft, i.e. Yoke for controls with HOTAS for various button binds or HOTAS for controls and Yoke levers for throttle/mixture. Works just fine. January 25, 20251 yr I have the Boeing TCA and Microsoft FF2 joystick and Saitek TPM all connected to my PC. Depending on the aircraft (e.g. 2 engines) I use the TCS throttle axis from the TCA and propellor and mixture of the Saitek TPM. I use the FF2 stick for trimming, flaps and elevator/ailleron control. All works fine.
January 25, 20251 yr The main thing with having multiple controllers plugged in is that if one of them is noisy and sends uncommanded signals, it can cause issues. Because I have so many controls plugged in all the time, I set the SPAD.neXt profile for each plane to ignore any controller I don't use with that plane. The other issue is if you use the system for other games. Many games do not have the ability to turn off game controllers, so if you're trying to use a mouse/keyboard interface things get screwed up because the game is also processing input from all your controllers. It baffles me why, in 2025, games are still being released that don't let you ignore unwanted input devices, but because of this I have all my controllers connected via a switched USB hub. When I want to play one of those games, I turn off the hub instead of having to unplug all the controllers. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

If the FFB2 used finer resolution magnetic sensors it would pretty much be the perfect stick. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
January 25, 20251 yr I have a Logitech flight yoke system and a Thrustmaster joystick. I had both hooked up at the same time. I would be flying along and all of a sudden the throttle would go to zero. Viewing the cockpit the throttle would be jumping all around. Sometimes the throttle wouldn't stay advanced so I could not take off. Unhooked the Thrustmaster and the problem went away. Now use the Thrustmaster for helicopters and the yoke for everything else, one connection at a time. i7-10700 CPU @2.90 GHz, 32 GB Ram, nVadia GTX1660ti, Samsung 1 TB SSD Drive

Google search for HidHide, it's a great utility that "hides" usb devices so you can set it up easily enough. I use it to great effect to hide devices for FC24, otherwise for whatever reason the Xbox controller won't work. January 25, 20251 yr It is entirely possible to leave both flight control sticks plugged in with either FS 2020 or 2024. As mentioned above, it is possible for the signals to interfere with each other, but there are simple workarounds. The key is to create a null power profile for each joystick, which means you create a profile that removes the throttle axes from the stick. Then, select the null power profile for your yoke if it is interfering with the throttle settings on your throttle quadrant or flight stick. Similarly, I had a situation where my yoke’s elevator axis was causing flight stick control errors in the Fenix a320, which I control with the Thrustmaster Airbus flight stick. Solution: create a yoke profile that removes the yoke’s flight control axes and select that profile when using the flight stick. By creating and selecting appropriate profiles for your controller devices, you can avoid interferences and leave all plugged in. Rich

Yep, I've messed with it, but honestly, hitting the physical button on the USB hub is quicker and easier. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
January 25, 20251 yr I have my Honeycomb Yoke and Throttle plus MS Sidewinder FF joystick and CH Rudder pedals all plugged in via a USB hub and they work flawlessly together. Despite my initial concerns I think the controller menu is one bit of MS2024 they actually got right! You've given me an idea now 😄 never really looked at usb hubs but that could work better for me, will give it some thought.
