January 27, 20251 yr Since installing the beta I have noticed that the game ignores some "Free flight" choices and appears to default to the previous Free flight. This has happened three of four times now. Yesterday it refused to place me on the correct runway at Lands End (default scenery) and kept defaulting to RW27! No idea what's going on there. January 27, 20251 yr @TrafficPilot Something is off with your signature. It has about 5 lines worth of empty space under the first line making it blow up the size of your posts needlessly.

January 27, 20251 yr I can confirm that there is a bug for EGHE wherein any choice for a departure runway always results in a placement on runway 27. This was with, and without, Navigraph data installed. Also this problem does not exist in the 2020 version. January 27, 20251 yr I was having this problem with Lands End before the beta so it isn't a problem introduced with the beta. I only had 2024 for a month on Gamepass and that month ran out before the beta was released so I can't test it again in the beta.

My issue is with the St Mary's Scilly Isles Airport although I think it affects Lands End as well. I know you just wanted to confirm things first before maybe making a potentially spurious report over on the 'post hidden' forum. Some others don't seem to get that. I seem to have been lucky with my first day or so. I know I am only flying low and slow and mainly out in the sticks (other than a quick foray over NY without any problems), but other than my initial CTDs that I overcame quickly, I don't have a lot to report about SU1 beta (other than the already know issues of course). Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. I thank you. During the "early days" of MS2020 I did frequent that forum for a while but then got tired of major threads getting "hidden" and other topics mysteriously disappearing.
