Same empty folder today with MsStore MSFS2024 SU3 1.5.2.0 :

But it seems to work, here in the Los Angeles bassin with AIG and GAMod as seen from iPad Foreflight app where there's general aviation (low) generic traffic.

Question: is there a way to improve the ATC call made to generated gamod traffic, all starting with "Generic". It's a real immersion killer on the radio ;(

this version is 100% SU3 combatible but works great also with SU2. SU3 has way better ground AI traffic, so there is benefits allready with SU3 beta.

KNOWN BUGS 
There is still crucial parking bug affected to GAmod in SU3 beta ( https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ai-aircrafts-trying-to-park-to-same-spot-kills-performance-su2-bug/713827/14  please vote) but this bug can be tackled with traffic density LOW in most of the areas.

NEW FEATURES

1) SU3 has new BETTER ai traffic. No more wandering in forest and models keep the taxi paths. Try SU3 beta or wait SU3 to be released.

2) now fully combatible without streaming any content of MSFS AI models. With scripts, you can disable MSFS ai models and AI traffic inside of content.xml. See folder 1_DISABLE_STOCK_TRAFFIC_TOOLS

3) because of that, there is no "generic" from atc anymore. New way to ATC speak is "aircraft model manufactor + model + flight number"  -)   CESSNA SKYHAWK 2458    or   CESSNA CARAVAN 2458. ATC may use in some cases only call signs. MSFS 2024 ATC logic is mystery on this.

4) Lowered overhauls flights to 3 flights / airport (ULTRA) and 1 flight / airport (LOW), because there is just to much traffic in high density area. With LOW setting, there is only one flight in small airfields, to there is way to tackle bug called "aircrafts trying to inject same parking spot" -) no performance loss with LOW.

5) updated latest model LOD files from MSFS2024 via VFS (virtual file system)

6) military traffic is now separated from basic models and traffic, because MSFS2024 new fallback system will use military models also with GA traffic. So if you want use military traffic, you need to only enable GAmod2024-MilitaryModels  and GAmod2024-MilitaryTraffic. When using only GA traffic, enable only GAmod2024-Models and GAmod2024-Traffic. Special traffic is also separate pack and renamed to be first in priority order before GAmodels. So you can enable both models and both traffic folders.

7) AIflow isnt anymore fully combatible. It wont keep the culling limit and MSFS tries to inject more aircraft after culling. So it would be for example 50 aircrafts in a second but after 3 seconds 70-80 and it culls it to 50 after 5 seconds with serious stutter. So thats why total flight numbers are lowered in total. Start flight with ULTRA and put it to LOW after 30sec. You should have traffic amount that doesent kill your FPS and also with good amount of diffrent models.


😎 Random models worldwide! I decided to mix up the GAmod and there is now totally random models in airports so there is no certain models to find, like there was earlier C152 in every aiport.

9) Hot balloons, helicopters and gliders do now touch and go manouvers in airports. They dont land, just starts climbing before touch down. This way there is special traffic also near airports.

Hi. Just testing this now and although it's working something isn't right. I'm in SU3 Beta. Flew from Sherburn Elmet to my local airport Leeds Bradford and had smooth flight with Mainthread hovering around 15ms the whole way until i touched down where its rocketed up to 35ms and frames are all over the place. If I turn AI Offline to Off in Aircraft Traffic Type  then mainthread and fps return to normal. I have air traffic set to low and can see that there are about 10 airplanes showing across the whole of the north of england in Little Nav Map. Could be a SU3 beta thing but while typing this my mainthread has now gone up to 44ms!

 

Wlll restart the sim and see if anything changes on my second run

I admit I'm now baffled! I thought I'd look for trafficaircraft.bgl just to check that it's disabled and I don't have the file. Moved the GAmod folders out of my community folder and restarted the sim, enabled Realtime on line air traffic and cranked it up to ultra and Leeds is rammed with planes! Still no sign of a trafficaircraft.bgl on my computer so I don't know where they are coming from.

There is no trafficaircraft.bgl anymore is su3 beta. You have to disable AI-traffic in Content.xml with this tool: Corsten´s one-click content disabler (content.xml) for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS or the script wich is provides with the zip. Do not use the UI-tool inside of the zip, it has serious bug and it has been updated for the app in flightsim.to.

The fps tank could be this bug: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ai-aircrafts-trying-to-park-to-same-spot-kills-performance-su2-bug/713827/14  Try another region with GAmod: first ultra and then LOW. Try without special traffic also and use littlenavmap to see how much traffic you have.

** Changelog 20.9.2025 **
- Added quick step tutorial for having GAmod2024 working with MSFS2024
- Model structure are now partial streamed, because MSFS stopped to have access to working files via VFS-system. This means lower size zip and more models and liveries. Only liveries and some .cfg files are now in the pack/zip.
- Because of this new method coming back to streamed content, there is no way to change ATC callnames anymore.
- added new models to the pack. Now total of 32 models and some of them has 2-3 variants, so close of 40 diffrent liveries included. New models: Beech 50, Beech 76, C177, DA42, King Air family, P2012, PC24
- Military traffic is now allmost 100% MSFS2024 native, only Reaper is MSFS2020 file. With this change, performance is far better. But you cannot use military traffic with ga traffic, because broken modelmatching. To use military traffic, see Quick_step_tutorial_for_GAmod2024.txt

** KNOWN BUGS **

- MSFS 2024 has very bad model matching, basicly it doesent have modelmatching atm. MSFS AI OFFLINE uses all the models in community and in MSFS core as AI aircrafts. It is important to use Corsten´s Content disabler to enable only models that GAMod uses. See Quick_step_tutorial_for_GAmod2024.txt
- Currently in SU4 beta, there is crucial bug with injected flights straight to air. They are not moving, thery are just with status "zombie" and stays still on the air. So with su4 beta, you cant use special traffic because those are all flights that are injected straight to air. 
- Aircrafts doesent often land because there is bug called "landing_state doesent activate". In some cases VFR flights are landing, but mostly not.

An AMAZING mod!   I would have paid money for this.

Hmmm, used this extensively in MSFS2020, but it's not working for me in MSFS 2024.

I followed instructions;-

- Download GAmod 2024 v1.4

- Downloaded the OneClick Content disabler

- Disabled the traffic as instructed and enabled the GAMod models

- Placed the 2 x GAmod folders into community

- Set up the Settings as suggested.

 

In the sim, there is no traffic (tried it at EGSH and EGCJ) and there is a large nasty stutter (like a hic-up) every 10 seconds.   When I disable AI Offline traffic in the sim, the 'hic up' disappears.

I'm using SU3.

I'm gutted because I couldn't fly without this mod in MSFS2020.

Any tips?

^^^^^^^  This applies for me too.   The folder is empty. I guess that's why it's not working.

It's a shame there is this confusion with the trafficaircraft.bgl file being missing for MS Store users.  I'd imagine, we're at least half of the user base!

Oh well, I'll keep checking this mod out over time.  It was my all time favourite mod in 2020.

That trafficaircraft.bgl file is no more the case. It is empty bacause MSFS doesent use it anymore. AI traffic is built in and thats why it must be disabled in content.xml via my content disabler tool. Rememeber also disable AI airliners and GA models with the tool. And enable GAmod used models only with last stage of the disable procedures. In my discord is several users that has working GAmod with store version. Come there to get support!

Ok, I found what my problem was!   I missed the part of the instructions for your Content Disabler about it needing to go in the same folder that the Content.xml is in.     I was just running your content disabler from my desktop!

So about to try it again, and the GAmod.

I used the content disabler (from the content.xml location this time).  Disabled the airliner and GA traffic and enabled the GAmod models.

Put the two GA folders of GAmod into the Community folder.

Set traffic to "AI offline" in the Online settings, then traffic to Ultra in the graphics settings.

I loaded into Placerville (KPVF).   I waited 10 mins with no traffic, then 1 aicraft (a Kodiak) took off.

I then flew to Sacramento but - apart from than one AI aircraft - no more traffic was generated during the flight.    On the ground at Sacramento there was no AI traffic.

Also, just as with the first time I tried the mod, I have high FPS overall, but a nasty big single stutter, about every 10 seconds.

I just don't understand why this is not working.

There is no kodiak in gamod. I assume you have it in your community as flyable aircraft it has isairtraffic = 1  in aircraft.cfg.

Do you have littlenavmap and do you see traffic around you?

 

Edit. It seems that KPVF is lacking traffic. Only 4 VFR flights. I will make now more traffic there. I will upload here fix for you to test.
