March 1, 20251 yr After seeing WT mentioned fixes to the VJ specifically on their Discord I decided to go into the SU1 beta after all. Couldn't wait anymore. At first I though there was a bug with the screens because they were all rather dark... but then I found out you can now set the brightness with the rotation knob! Very cool! I also was very happy to see the checklist (on the PFD) finally works! But that was it... I still get the TAKEOFF EMER BATT error and the TO/GA button now doesn't work anymore...! So now I wonder if the VJ fixes are actually in the beta or not... The mentioned fixes are more like general MSFS fixes, it seems. Anyone knows more about this?

What was the TO/GA button is now the AT/Disc button, as in the real aircraft. See this post: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/msfs2024-cirrus-sf50-vision-jet/664507/273? It's a bit difficult to find the TO/GA button clickspot but it's there and works for me. Enable tooltips and you will find it. The clickspot actually is at the left front side of the throttle lever handle and then a bit on the lower end. Here's a screenshot for those who can't find it. ANd btw the AT/Disc button now also works as it should! I love what WT and MS Asobo are doing with this plane. EDIT BTW The TO/GA button isn't actually modelled: you can't see it. It's just a clickspot. Now if only they would solve that TAKEOFF EMER BATT error... and enable the IPS STALL OFFSET RESET... 😉 Edited March 1, 20251 yr by mistolip
March 1, 20251 yr Author Oh my, even the automatic lowering of the speeds during approach (when you lower gear and flaps) now works!!! Man, it's almost perfect now! 🙂

March 1, 20251 yr How does one scroll through the checklists? Tried it with the wheel next to the knob for brightness but that didn't work.

I scroll with the wheel and confirm pressing the wheel. Works fine here. Works fine here too, just as Alvega posted. Mouse scroll over the wheel to go up or down and click to tick an item on or off. I also like how each part is just one list (and not multiple pages) and how information won't turn green. The MS version really is superior now.

March 2, 20251 yr Author Seeing all the great fixes and improvements I am a bit surprised they didn't fix the takeoff emer bat bug... It's impossible to not see it. I can sort of imagine they missed the ips stall offset reset (perhaps they only fly in warm weather) but the emer bat bug is quite annoying... Still, I am very happy that they clearly spend time on the only plane I fly. 😉 And on the rest of the sim too btw: finally the presets for my joystick are remembered! That was a pretty annoying bug too! And I also notice the ground textures are sharper! It's a lot better now! Very happy with that too! Yes, slowly we are getting there... 😉 Edited March 2, 20251 yr by mistolip
March 2, 20251 yr The last time I attempted to use the MS VJ, in external camera mode the displays in the cockpit were visible for just a brief second and then went dark. Has this been fixed? Thanks for answering these questions btw. It's appreciated. Ken
