X-Plane 12: the best simulator to ... (parody)

It’s not the right forum I know but I wanted to launch that sim yesterday to make some comparisons and that mandatory update messed everything up and I was stucked. All my addons installed physically and my settings are all gone! The worst usability of any sim I have used so far (in 36 years…)

took me less than 30 min to get the situation back to normal, with all addons, but I actually decided to delete all of my cloud stores and make a fresh definition of my controller settings because I now know how to do it and mine were a mess...

Been flying the INIBUILDS A350 and the FENIX 320 CEO since then without **any** glitches, smooth & stable, with excellent AI Traffic and ATC.

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

@jcomm Thanks but I haven’t that much time right now and I will need more than 30 mins because I am not using it often and will have to search for all key-bindings again (that already costs me hours on the first installation).

If it had been the first time ... But they surprised us again and again - not in a positive way. 'Over there', quite a few MSFS users are also ranting about that subject. But let's leave it now, we're in the XP forum after all.

Personally, I prefer the customization.  I don't like to be locked into a sim, where I don't have a say in what I can or can't add to it.

One word - LUA scripts. Endless possibilities.

You are lucky this was a parody-topic. That suits perfectly.
