PSXT / Real Traffic In 2024

Featured Replies

I've noticed that in MSFS 2020 i get significantly more traffic than i do when I load MSFS 2024.  Is PSXF / Real Traffic not fully supported in 2024?  Also, none of the planes seem to have landing gear when I am in 2024.  If there is a setting or something I need to change for 2024 compatibility please let me know.

Also, unrelated but what is the difference between PSXT and PSXT Traffic?  I have both downloaded but never use Traffic.  Thanks!

I think at the moment, none of the AI model options (both AIG and FSLTL) are fully compatible with 2024 as well as the newer 2024 beta has severely broken any progress that was made for AI prior to that.

The amount of traffic you may see is indepent from the FlightSim (P3D, MSFS2020 or MSFS2024) you are using. However, what you do see depends on your paramater settings in PSXT/PSXTraffic and how many models/liveries you have installed in the FlightSim.

Then you have installed the wrong AIG package. You cannot use the AIG package for 2020 in 2024. Note that the AIGManager has a drop downlist so you can slect the FlightSim you want to use.

  • PSXT works directly with the RT servers on the internet, so you do not need to download/install/run  the PSXTraffic app.
  • PSXTraffic needs the PSXTraffic app.

PSXT is also more advanced. It is highly recommended. Use free app LittleNavMap if you want to see a map.

So if I use both sims, do I need to go into AIG manager before every flight and pick the sim I am going to use?

No of course not. You install once all AIG liveries in MSFS 2024, just like you did for MSFS 2020.

Did I do something wrong?  When I started AIG Manager it said that 2024 was not supported and it shut down.

I'd suggest you go to the AIG forum for that question. This is the PSXT forum.

I didn't know they had a forum.  I did a search but nothing came up.  Any idea on where that would be?
