Freeware SBuilderX is an absolute must-have. Somewhat steep learning curve, but amazingly versatile once you get the hang of it.John

Maybe get Flight 1's Instant Scenery, which is REALLY easy to use, while learning some of the stuff other people have kindly posted.Rich.

Also, if you're not already aware, there is an excellent scenery design forum right here at AVSIM with loads of information: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=123Regards, Kendall#1: E6750@3.2GHZ/Coolermaster HyperTX2 Gigabyte P35-DS3L 4GB Ballistix Tracers PC6400 EVGA 8800GT - 174.74 beta Seagate 250GB 7200.11 CH Yoke/Pedals/Saitek Throttle Dual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905 #2: Dell 8400 3.2 H.T. 3GB PC4200 - X800XT Diamond Xtreme/Logitech X-530's

Hello Bill,It is easy to confuse those web sites, but http://www.scenery.org/ is Tom Gregor's Scenery Hall of Fame, not Arno's old name for his web site.Tom has been hosting all that information on his site for a very long time, and arguably it is the most complete source of information and tools for FS scenery design available.Best regards.Luis
