Why do they state that if DX12 is not required?

Doing a search on their Discord it is things like some external lights that may not work in DX11. But the systems work fine.

Also, one of their staff members posted this:

"Do you mean DX12? While it is not necessary, the MAX was optimised for DX12. Other users have posted in the past saying no issues using DX11. Might be worth googling as to what is causing your crashes check a log or something. I have used DX12 and never encountered issues."

One advantage of a future PMDG MAX would be that for sure they would release the whole family, starting with the MAX8 & MAX9 and would probably release the MAX7 and MAX10 once ready.

Ifly still have to acknoledge that they would release a MAX9 in the future. Unless, I missed the news.

I think that whole page was just a test landing page to state the obvious.  It was actually the -800 page with a different title.

All of the images were of the NG and all of the references were to MSFS and OC2.

Pretty sure we are debating which one is heavier a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks here LOL

Let's hope PMDG finally learns how to develop a proper flight model for their aircraft. The iFly is already a great product, so it will be difficult to top it.

And they should hire Boris to do the sounds.

By "proper flight model", do you mean "able to follow LNAV precisely"? The handling of the 737-600 feels pretty good to me.

I mean the handling of the plane. Their 737 NG handles like a paper plane.

But yes, their LNAV needs a lot of work, too.

For me the ifly still overshoots every turn at high altitude and strong winds. Never had this issue with pmdg.

I would love a pmdg max. I tried to like the ifly but it’s still giving me issues. During long transcontinental flight with wind changes, it quiet often can’t hold speed for some time and needs to accelerate back to cruise speed. As mentioned the lnav has gotten better, but still overshoots quiet often. And lastly the efb is atrocious.

To bad, because it looks and sounds amazing. It hand flies beautifully.
