June 22, 2025Jun 22 I've already come across a few videos on youtube that I ultimately realized were fake, but it did take me a while to see that they were completely or they contained computer/AI generated images. It's the new scheme that a lot of young losers, and to be fair some older ones, too, who describe themselves as "content creators" or "influencers" are utilizing to make money. Hopefully someone will develop software that can detect when a video or image is fake, otherwise we now live in a world where it is impossible to know what's real as audio, videos, and imagery can be convincingly faked using AI.
