What do you use to video your flight?

So how do you post Flight Recorder files to Youtube?

Flight recorder records a flight so you can replay it using the same sim. It doesn’t record an actual video.

For example, you would record your flight and replay it with flight recorder. Then record various views like external, passenger view etc etc  with OBS.

OBS is what’s going to make the actual video files, FlightRecorder simply records current simulation variables and replays them back in the sim.

hopefully I explained it well.

With my i7 12700k and 4070ti Super system at 1440p;

Thanks for all of that I should have been clearer.  I have used Shadowplay many times hoping to capture and play back at 1440p, but it's never smooth.  I notice the video's you linked are playing back at 720p.  I haven't tried again since the 9900X3D went in so maybe it will be better.

? If they're playing back at 720p you need to check your YouTube setting.

If you play in-situ (in Avsim) it's 720p but when out to YT it's up to your capture level of 1440p.  Tell me your exact settings to obtain that if you will.  Was it Shadowplay or OBS you were using for those?  They were great!

How do you start Shadowplay, I can't seem to find the exe file for it. I do have an Invidia GPU card.

Thx,
Al

It used to be ALT+Z when I last used it. It should bring up the overlay, then you can create shortcuts, change options etc

Thanks for the response. ALT+Z didn't do anything for me. It may be I need to have the Nvidia App installed, which I don't.
