July 31, 2025Jul 31 I was on the design team for the real life airport. Spent lots of time out there. a great destination. Was building a freeware version for FSX many years ago but never released it. July 31, 2025Jul 31 I watched a live stream of a pre release version of this last night and honestly wasn’t blown away. Plus it’s only for 2024 again where still many haven’t made the leap. Pass for me for now.
July 31, 2025Jul 31 We will never see another MSFS 2020 airport from IniBuilds. They have moved on from what they presumably consider to be ancient technology that is barely good enough to render a runway and a few untextured blocks for buildings. I mean, who would want to carry on supporting that? I mean, who would want to carry on supporting that? Yeh it’s a weird move. I understand how everyone dropped P3D like a hot stone when MSFS got itself together, resulting in the almost sudden death of P3D content. But 2020 still has more users than 2024, has more content, is way less buggy and if you flew them both side to side it’s hard to really tell much difference. I have both installed with identical content (or at least that available for 2024) and I just find I have an easier time all round with 2020. Has anyone tried to install a 2024 airport in 2020? I’m guessing it would crash the sim. Edited July 31, 2025Jul 31 by bennyboy75

I mean, who would want to carry on supporting that? Yes, and that's exactly what I find modest. They made a lot of money with MSFS2020 users, and now I don't think it's OK for such a big flight simulation company to pull the plug on MSFS2020. That's not fair in my opinion, and it wouldn't be a big problem to continue supporting MSFS2020 anyway – what a shame if that's the truth ! Because there are probably still far more users on MSFS2020, so it would certainly still be financially worthwhile – but maybe it's just laziness or something like that ! cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
