August 8, 2025Aug 8 I tried to start the sim just now, first in SU3 beta, then back in SU2 (after reading that my new purchase MH60 requires SU2), and I’m perpetually stuck at the aerial view / spinning circle loading screen. I’ve tried different aircraft and locations. I didn’t see a notice about any server issues, anyone else having issues? August 8, 2025Aug 8 I had never experienced it other than when FS 2024 was released, but lately I've been experiencing that same issue. I don't really guess exactly what causes it. When it happens I follow a few steps that I learned back when I used FS 2020, like forcing time servers synchronization in the Windows 11 date & time settings, restarting the desktop, ... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't 😕 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
August 8, 2025Aug 8 Even lowering the LOD workaround, still get the spinning circle, hoping SU4 or SU5 will address this. August 8, 2025Aug 8 Empty your community folder. Had it yesterday .ended up being a liveries msfs did not like. If that does not work delete your rolling cache. If thatdoez norvwork re install navigraph That is all I got Edited August 8, 2025Aug 8 by Ron Lefebvre Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
August 8, 2025Aug 8 I have noticed that when you load a plane for the first time (which I think is what you were doing), it spins longer than usual (probably doing a one-time compiling of WASM gauges or something like that). That said...I've also had it lock up with bad liveries as Ron mentions above. I'd do empty Community folder and then add just the MH60. August 9, 2025Aug 9 Author Thanks for the ideas, unfortunately after trying them all still no joy. I also tried removing the MH60 from the community folder so it was completely empty. So frustrating, I used the sim without issues, went away for a week, when I came back this issue was occurring. Also of note the clicking Exit Sim, I have to use task manager to shut down the sing as it just hangs on exit. When loading a new aircraft, it takes a while to compile, but when I know that's not the case, I zoom out and load again. That usually solves that issue. August 9, 2025Aug 9 Author This one must have been a server issue, I set my VPN to UK and the sim loaded fine. Thanks again for the suggestions everyone. August 9, 2025Aug 9 Further to the loading issues, with 1.5.21.0 of SU3 I am also experiencing CTDs when flying some addon airliners like the FSLabs 321 😞 It just happened after a short hop from LPPR to LPPT. I was using default ATC and AI Traffic. Will try next time with BATC and FSLTL @ 1024 because I seriously suspect this CTDs are related to default traffic and ATC. This being said, and even with it's quirks, FS 2024 IS THE SIM !!!!
