Well it's no different than the EFIS L and EFIS R units.

Just my five cents... There are no EFIS L and R units. There are "N" modules for the 737 NG and "M" modules for the 737 MAX as described quite clearly on WinWing website. So to get a full set (with MCP) you need to buy two identical "N" or "M" modules, depending on the 737 version they'll be used with. However on the well-known photo from WinWing both versions are shown as L and R EFIS modules, so the resellers are actively offering "N" as a Captain and "M" as a Co-Pilot modules. No comment...

I have to retract what I said about them not selling the Throttle on the EU shop yet.

I just didn't look at the right part of the Website. 😬

So... uh... We weren't talking about the Boeing gear. We were talking about the Airbus gear.  And since there is apparently a need to be all snarky, allow me to introduce you to:
EFIS L: https://ca.winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=845 and

EFIS R: https://ca.winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=865

which are separate and distinct from the 3N and 3M panels (https://ca.winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=1265 and https://ca.winwingsim.com/view/goods-details.html?id=1245)

I'm glad we could have this chat.

All good. Glad you found the throttle. Did you spot the combo pack that includes both the Throttle and the PAC panel? That's what I'm likely going to pre-order when it goes live in a few hours.

Yes, I did.

Given the experiences with the delivery times I decided to not pre-order and wait until December. I don't have much time to sim in the next two months anyway.

That's a reasonable decision. Given the lead times, I'd normally not pre-order either but I like Winwing's policy of letting you pre-order but not actually charging you any money until your items are ready to ship. So I don't mind putting in my order and just waiting.

I was thinking the same but then thought that the more pre-orders they have the more they'll be motivated(?) to speed up deliveries?
In any case, cards aren't debited until the unit actually ships, which I appreciate.

I know. The payment is due the moment they are ready to ship.

I looked at the website now it will take more that 45 days until delivery.

That says to me that it was really the right decision not to pre-order. I really don't like not knowing when something I ordered will actually arrive.

So I'm fine with waiting until they are finally reliably in stock and do not become unavailable just because the supply is too limited.

With the MCDU's that took about 7 months. If it turns out to last that long, so be it.

Oh... silly me. It's just that WinWing has just launched the 737 EFIS and I was discussing this matter with a colleague on a different forum... Sorry.

Fair enough. All good. If you're looking at the Boeing gear (regardless of what they call it! 🙂 ) I will just say that if it's the same quality as the Airbus gear, I don't think you'd regret adding it to your home cockpit. I've been very happy with the Airbus stuff.

Totally agree- the quality is very good (and the price is amazing 😁).

Thanks for letting us know. Definitely makes me happy to wait for it to ship from the Canadian warehouse.

It's been like this forever. They even point this out on their website. Global shipping is faster when local warehouses do not have the item in stock, but they let you pay for shipping and any tarrif that might apply.

When you buy from the local warehouses you don't pay any of that.

So one just has to be exceedingly patient because they are very slow to stock the local warehouses. You will probably wait more like 60 days.

I could have bought the MCDU back in March, but I did not feel like paying 45€ in shipping costs so I waited until June until the EU warehouse finally had them in stock again.
