November 8, 2025Nov 8 Which do you prefer and I would like to hear why. Doesn’t seem to make much difference to me as far as performance. Windowed allows you assess to other apps were as full screen maybe a little more immersion though not much. In windowed view I can protect my charts on a second screen projection on the same monitor but I use my IPAD for that. Doesn’t seem to matter much to me. What do you think? Vic green
November 8, 2025Nov 8 I always used full screen before having two monitors, but nowadays I opt for windowed mode if I wan to to use popup windowed instrumentos, like the PDF, ND, FMC...because it appears to impact less on performance and stabiility. Condorsoaring has "full screen windowed mode too"... November 8, 2025Nov 8 I use something of a hybrid between the two--windowed mode with the Lossless Scaling/Frame Gen app. So when LSFG is toggled on (using a hotkey), it puts XP into full-screen mode, and if I need to get to another program while running XP, I just toggle LSFG off and it reverts back to windowed mode. November 9, 2025Nov 9 With full screen mode, you can also access other applications if you need to quickly check something.

This is a very interesting suggestion and one I will surely try!
