Control Binding - Remove Chocks & Peto Covers

Featured Replies

Just a quickie.  Having just spent most of the day sorting out all of my MSFS, keyboard and controller settings which microsoft kindly deleted for me again (for some reason, restoring my backups didn't work), I'm left with one I can't find.  I had a key set to rermove chocks and pito covers when starting from the ramp, so that I could enter the aircraft and start up.  I can't seem to find this anywhere and wonderif someone could remind me of which setting and where to find it.  Thanks.

Not at my flight sim computer, but is it "take control of character" or something similar?

Not sure.  I do remember setting up a key binding as a result of watching a video a while back and can't now remember the video or the setting to bind the key to.

I do have a recollection that it might have been something to do with having a key which when pressed, completed the preflight external checklist or something like that.

Thanks guys - it looks like I might have to did into those areas or keep trying to figure it out.  Just annoying that I can't remember who did the video about it.

It's probably been mentioned elsewhere and not sure if it's what you're looking for but, if you bind a key to 'Quick preflight', it will remove all that stuff you need to to with the walkaroud. If you bind it to SHIFT+C like for the 'enter aircraft' action it will do both operations in a single click.

QUICK PREFLIGHT is the key assignment that you want 👍

Bind a key to that and you're good to go.   It removes all default MS2024 walkaround items.

This should be done before you press Shift+C to enter the aircraft.
