Yes i did so amd ran ms2024.

Still the same issue persists.

so it is updating a working but the folder shows C:\Users\M\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages 

but i had moved the folder via library to my H folder yet all is installed via above. 

And in the config only the livery manager i am able to click on. But the exlude 3rd party i am not.

 

Any help is appreciated

Is you username really just M ?

If you have several users, and you moved the MSFS 2024 from another user, they would use different set of settings. The FSDT Installer MUST run with admin permission (otherwise it's not possible to create Symbolic links, that's a Windows requirement) so, if the user you normally run MSFS with is a limited permissions user, the FSDT Installer will effectively run as a different user (M in your case) because that user likely has admin permissions.

So, the easiest solution is to give your normal user admin permissions, so running the installer won't switch to another user.

The manual is surely correct, that assuming that's the jetway used by the scenery, and you don't have any scenery conflicts.

Here's an example of a profile (not made by me) for Jetstream LIML airport:

That works, passengers walk at the correct height, so the settings surely works in GSX.

Of course, GSX has extensive logging facilities so, if you checked the log, it would tell you if it read that setting from the profile, and it will also tell you if it is using that profile in the first place, since you might have another one from the same airport, maybe created for the default one before you installed the add-on airport, so maybe you are editing a file but GSX is  using another one.

So do i need to reinstall and point it to my H folder?

2024 has got me stumped.

I did merge the community folder to H from library in sim.

thou when i look in there its empty.

All addons Still in C drive..

This is not very clear, do you mean:

- You mis-typed "Mike" as "M" in your previous post

OR

- it's really detected as "M" by the FSDT Installer, but you know the real folder is on user "Mike" ?

so i have this issue with ms2024

is this why i am having issues with gsx?

1. Manually copy all the files from "C:\Users\MIKES\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages" to "E:\MSFS 2024"

2. Edit the user.cfg file to look like this

If you have correctly copied/moved the files over, the sim will start and work fine.

Didn't work unfortunately.

Says i cant move the folder.

Any idea why for example I do not see the Reposition from Map and other new menus (I have 3.7.3 installed), the pop up for Selection from Map as example appear only on top of MSFS if I open the GSX settings but then if I close the settings, the popup map also closes itself, I can not use it.

 

Disregard: It is solved, not clear what the issue was.
