No, everything works, be sure you have admin rights, because without admin rights, it's not possible to create symbolic links in the community

I looked at some screenshots of that airport on Simmarket, and the picture showing the Jetway shows a very plain standard Apron-drive jetway not unlike the standard ones, so there's no need anything fancy, it would work with GSX, it's LIKELY it needs the floor height to be adjusted, that's it. Pages 79-80 in the GSX Manual.

According to this, the jetway title is as indicated in the Landmarks:

[fltsim.0]
title=KSGU_Jetway
model=
texture=

[General]
category=StaticObject
DistanceToNotAnimate=2000

[jetway_rootfloor_heights]
KSGU_Jetway
= What would you try here?  These passengers start out on top and angle downwards so they are maybe 8 feet above the floor where they start.  Also, if I restart Couatl will it be able to read edits in the .ini file so I can quickly retest tries with a restart of Couatl?

Anyone successfully got the pre planned jetway using map to actually work when you arrive? Every time I do one it says that I’m in the incorrect parking spot.

GSX has no control if a jetway moves or not, and you don't pre-plan a jetway: you pre-plan a parking spot.

Either:

- you are not in the correct parking spot, or you are not parked correctly. Or both.

- the profile you are using is not the right one for the airport.

- you have a scenery conflict, so the Navdata that comes to GSX contains conflicting data.

- your airplane is very large, so the distance from its center of mass to the parking stop position is bigger than the parking Distance Threshold in the GSX profile.  The Distance Threshold is explained in the GSX manual at pages 43 (the parking customization dialog) and 127 ( the map editing ).

Since the default is 4.60 meters from ground, I'd try with something lower, like 3.00 and see how it works. Yes, you can restart GSX only to test it again.

Thank you.  That number indeed is exactly what my first try was.  From there I went to negative numbers because it didn't change at all when trying 3.  So went drastic to -3, and still no change.  I'm assuming something is wrong w/ the jetway ID or something along those lines.

That all sounds great. How do I fix it then? What is the method to correct the behavior. If I select the gate once I landed it works correctly with guidance into the parking spot. If I select in the air with the map, the assets are loaded, but when I am getting my engines shutdown after being directed by the marshaller it says "You are not parked in the correct parking spot".

Is it a Navigraph issue?

Have you moved the MSFS 2024 Community folder ? If yes, have you done it in the only proper way, which is through the Library menu ? If you did it correctly, have you run MSFS 2024 after making the change ?

If you did anything else (like moving/creating folders manually and/or using the Addon Linker), your move is not correct, so the FSDT installer won't see it, since it only supports the official method (not using links/addon linker, proper folder name in UserCfg.opt)

It's not possible you won't see any difference going from 4.6 to 3.0 meters, the only possible explanation is, the jetway is not called that way. What matters is the "Title" in the sim.cfg, not the folder name in the package.

Well, here's what I showed you under what your manual states to add to the profile from sim.cfg:
spacer.png

And here was my edit of the profile:

[jetway_rootfloor_heights]
KSGU_Jetway = 3  Was I supposed to enter the word Title in front, like this?

title=KSGU_Jetway = 3

Is this to be entered WHERE, in the profile.ini?  Here's a snippet of where I put it:

[general]
scenario = KSGU-St-George_HangarOne
disable_static_docks = 0
msfs2020only = 0

[jetway_rootfloor_heights]
KSGU_Jetway = 3
