Anything with ram memory will get more expensive , cars PCs smart phone TVs. AI Data Centres are buying all the ram they can get.

The video focuses specifically on high end gaming computers.  You know, like the ones we'd like for MSFS. It's not just about RAM.  Quite timely, it suggests hitting Cyber Monday sales as this is likely the lowest price you'll encounter in the foreseeable future.  If you're looking to upgrade, might wanna do it now.  At least that's what you tell your wife to justify the purchase.

Consoles were also mentioned, with some background on how they'll be affected, and why.  <-- Clickbait.  So sue me.  He mentioned nVidia making a surprising change I didn't know about.  <-- More clickbait.  Yadda yadda.

I've followed WDW Pro for a year now and he's been pretty spot-on with what he posts.  Normally it's about Disney and various entertainment media.  Gaming counts as entertainment media.  He also got deep into the Cracker Barrel story.

As for the hardware forum, 99.87% of what's posted there is not pertinent to my situation so that's not where I spend my time.

Maybe it also serves a strategy towards the "thin-ization" of devices, making them as basic and minimal as possible and rying mostly on "the Cloud", streaming, ...
