OC3 Missing Liveries 737 2024

Featured Replies

I have installed liveries via the OC3 and they show installed but are missing in MSFS 2024? What am I missing? Is this a control thing again with PMDG. They are in the community folder. This should be simple.

I expect they're available. Now you've got to match the correct aircraft variant to the livery; winglets, split scimitar, etc...

Well, I'm glad to see it's not just me. I don't know why deliveries should be this hard to install, and I understand you have to match them up with a particular airplane, but geez. Has anybody tried to import one yet?

Haven't had an issue with liveries myself so far - Also installed 3d party ones via the import option and they do show up within the sim itself. You could try these ones: https://flightsim.to/file/101642/ryanair-collection-pmdg-b737-800 I know they work on my end to see if it shows up on your end.

Have you checked to see if they are installed in MSFS2024 but are listed separately (not with your PMDG liveries)?  I have seen some liveries online that are incorrectly located directly into the Community folder rather than in with the PMDG liveries.  Therefore they cannot be seen listed with the PMDG liveries for a particular airframe type.  I had the opposite problem for a while - the liveries showed up and worked in MSFS2024 after I manually installed them but did not show up in OC3.  The problem was in the structure of the file name and the contents of the config files - they have to be consistent and matching, or the livery is not recognised by OC3.  If the files you are installing are correctly named and formatted, and set up correctly to install in the same folder as the PMDG liveries, OC3 should recognise them and they should work when they have been installed.

I was just installing from OC3 and assumed that it would know where to place the files considering the amount of time this has been tested. 400+ days. I will check your suggestions out, Thanks

I still suspect the problem sits in front of the computer.

The OC3 does indeed know where to install a livery and so far I never had trouble finding any of them inside the sim, on any of the PMDG aircraft.

Just be 100% sure that you picked the correct variant (PAX vs Cargo Blended Winglet vs Scimitar Winglet).

Well that could be...LOL - But I think I know PAX vs Cargo and Wing type. Is this the correct path? C:\Users\????????\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community\pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800\liveries\pmdg

That is the path any of the OC3 liveries I have installed / imported are stored in (pmdg-aircraft-738-liveries\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800\liveries\pmdg) so that does appear to be the right location.
