The problem with JF Traffic Global I had to edit the wing span on the aircraft many would not fit the gates.

JF position in P3D install.

AIG for the aircraft models, repaints and flightplans, and FSHud to inject them into the sim.

Oh no it's not even close to the same thing. FSLTL is "based" on FR24 movements but is far from the actual adsb or surveillance return data that PSXT and RT uses. FSLTL also relies on the AI engine of the sim around airports so you have the usual lineups for departure because of no use of any kind of real separation as well as common wring runway operations. Parking as well is all random using the airport parking spots with the larger wingspan issue they commonly skip spots that are "too close together" even though they aren't. PSXT knows who parks where so you don't get the wrong aircraft using the wrong spots.

h... I had trouble with aircraft parking all over the place even after letting thngs "learn" and trying to modify a couple of airports. Anyway, my mistake with what I knew of FSLTL it seemed like the same premise.

FSLTL is certainly a good product and you can't beat being free. PSXT does require good data, and smaller and remote airports often don't have surveillance coverage down to the ground or a need for transponder on ground ops etc which can lead to erroneous parking results but even then aren't any worse than what you'd get from using FSLTL.

Get the FSLTL package. It is free and the easiest to setup and it injects AI traffic based on real traffic from flightradar24.

This seems to be only for MSFS so that does not apply to P3 D. Thanks anyway.

Thanks to everyone for all the good suggestions and comments.  it does appear as if AIG is the alternative that is Dan and others pointed out. That is exactly the one I was thinking about. I do remember trying out in the past without much success. I’ll be a little more patient this time, study the manual more carefully and I’ll let you know how this works out when I finally get around to doing it. Again, thanks. I appreciate all of the support.

You will love it, and as you can see we are here to help with any hang ups you may have. Once you get it initially set up though you are off to the races. Make sure you put on a few pots of coffee, there are thousands of packages to install!!!!.

Please note that there are some GA packages only available for MSFS and not P3D. Don't sweat it though as they are mostly "bush" flying and are circling local aerodromes, fishing camps etc. In theory they can work in p3d with generic repaints for compatibile models but it's work I haven't put into yet.

You may also get hung up when it asks which models you want to install. There are freeware and payware options but for a good chunk of the GA packages you need DFAI models which are payware. I think they are all 10 euro a plane but very good models.

anyway, I am off until next monday so I will be frequenting these forums if you need any help. Don't let any of the above scare you. just pointing out some key elements of the software.

You can have GA aircraft in P3D they have a different slider. ORBX airports and scenery use them. If you enable them.

Thank you I appreciate all of the help from you and the others. To be Frank trimming lately since my wife died in July, but I am slowly may be very slowly getting back to my old self as I work through the loss. The flight in community is a support system I know I can count on.
