PMDG 777 shows +1 degrees from take off to FL310

Featured Replies

I've just taken the PMDG 777-200ER in MSFS2024 out of EGKK. It showed +1 on the temperature on the ground (when the METAR said -2) and now, at FL310 it's still saying +1.

Is this a PMDG or MSFS issue?

I left EGCC about 45 minutes ago in the Ini A359 real weather. Currently (TAT) -31C, (SAT) -61C and (ISA) -5C.

Not sure what your problem could be? It is posibly a PMDG problem unless you have an external weather programme overriding MSFS2024 real time weather.

I am currently in Costa Rica in the Fenix and TAT is showing +32 and the METAR says +32.

It's the TEMP on the upper EICAS. Even now at FL330 over Turkey it's only -9...surely should be colder than that? On the FMC, the SAT says -55.

I only use default MSFS 2024 weather.

I’m sure you know what you’re looking at so no offence intended but it’s not the fuel temp you’re seeing is it ?
I only wonder as -9 sounds plausible as a fuel temp, not a TAT

No, you're absolutely right. Feel like a right word not allowed!! Ha! been flying the Fenix too much and looked lower down for the temp!

Ha, an easy fix then, mystery solved.

I hope you had a good flight.

I love it when I come into a new thread, start reading the first two posts and think to myself: "I wonder if someone already pointed out to him that he is looking at the fuel temperature". 🤣

And sure enough....
