  1. Yeah I also thought I had better try it after posting about it. Frames dropped from +/- 50 at Nice looking West (22L) and immediately dropped to +/- 14 the moment I turned East and brought it into view. Funny thing is, even at such low FPS the sim was quite manageable and not 1 stutter. Kudos to the creator, I am quite convinced we are going to see some talent coming through with this release. Now the only other thing we have to do is teach those using multiplayer not to sit on the active for an hour or more!
  2. I think we are witnessing a "changing of the guard". There is so much talent out there and this freeware version of Monaco is quite simply ..... stunning!
  3. I am back into a Flight Sim after years of being away. It's like a brand new learning curve all over again. And I've seen them all from - Psion Flight Sim for the Sinclair ZX up until P3Dv2. They were all a slow and measured step forwards. Gosh, I even recall the square clouds add-on I could buy for FS4 and some of the Bruce Artwick scenery! We could even download the odd aircraft from a BBS and then came the internet and the freeware libraries to keep us interested. But this large step forwards obviously offers an excellent gateway for better things to come. Stunning is a word that I have to agree with. I am very, very impressed! Cheers Dave B (ANZ121)
  4. Having just re-joined Avsim after many years away from a flight simulator Psion being my first ( ) and P3d version 1 being the last, I have to say that it is quite sad to see that there is still an element of some in the community moaning rather than getting out there and enjoying this beauty. MSFS2020 has jumped forward in many ways and will only get better. Give these developers some space and support to get on with their jobs. Cheers Dave B ANZ121
