I think if you do wait, it will be your loss. No real problems at my end ..... updated hues and my liveries have loaded and I am up, up and away! This is an excellent update to what was already an excellent product from what is an excellent development team. Some of the long-standing and stale developers should take note of what can be done in MSFS2024.

I noticed that you have been very vocal about the failings of photogrammetry. Why don't you give it a go in this area? The new TIN is astonishing and it might just change your mind. Yes, the earlier attempts had their obvious problems, but the latest few world updates have demonstrated just how good it can be.

Does it share the results of the obvious "port overs" with continued problems? Sorry, after watching the Fenix update video compared to the dinosaur in the room, I could not help myself.

It would be more interesting to know "why" they brought in such aggressive LOD culling rather than why it has not been "sorted yet". If we knew the reason we may just understand. I suspect it is all to do with the ongoing cost of bandwidth and the ROI.

Same here in NZ (12.59 am UTC) 13.59 pm local - stuck on 7% authentication.

A couple of airports that I use (and recommend) in this area are WADL Lombok available through SimMarket and WATO Komodo by Aerosoft. WATO is fun, only one way in and the opposite way out, so be careful with those winds. Bought initially for MSFS 2020, I still use them with MSFS 2024. Indonesia is a fun area and as mentioned in an earlier post the base photographic scenery is very good.

True maybe, but it does not look as good as some of the latest photogrammetry. PG is getting better and better with each update.

To be honest, I've been spoilt spending so much time in areas with photogrammetry scenery, I found Malta scenery to be very, well .............. yuk! The airport is nice, but the approach into 13 was very bland.

And yet, there are so many that don't. Like you, mine is on all the time and apart from the odd hiccup it works extremely well

I think Meteoblue provides excellent weather in MSFS2024.

Definitely not another windbag. It was a very good and reasoned video. Many have been saying for years that the "porting" brings over the same problems again and again. And PMDG ignore it! Rebuilt from the ground up? Definitely not. And the Legacy Code left in by an earlier developer? "HERE WE TUNE LIKE AMATEURS" sums it all up for me. They are no better than another developer who willingly supplied their software to include spyware. PMDG are a dinosaur and MSFS has moved on.

I left EGCC about 45 minutes ago in the Ini A359 real weather. Currently (TAT) -31C, (SAT) -61C and (ISA) -5C. Not sure what your problem could be? It is posibly a PMDG problem unless you have an external weather programme overriding MSFS2024 real time weather.
