Airport releases this week

The multi-jetway system is cool, have always admired that.

I will be skipping this title though. KORD is not really an airfield where I like to spend time, either IRL or in the sim lol. One of the ultimate utilitarian airports.

I'm hoping ini has improved their optimization process cause this would seem to be a performance killer hehe. I'll buy it though as it's semi close to my home.

its another airport i wont be buying as its another virgin route that was culled in 2017 after Delta got their paws on the 49 percent. That was a nice trip too

I had the same issue and my pc was getting a bit old so I upgraded to a 9800x3d and it’s smooth as butter.

Hehe that's like the highest end CPU. Throwing money at the situation definitely helps, but it doesn't mean they can't optimize more.

Looks like only iniBuilds aircraft are supported for multi-jetways. That's disappointing. Was hoping to use it with the PMDG 777

According to iniBuilds it can be made compatible with other aircraft addons besides theirs.

For Developers

The system has been developed to be easily integrated into both existing and future aircraft projects.

To enable compatibility, developers simply need to define the locations of their aircraft doors and expose the required data so the system can accurately position and operate multiple passenger boarding bridges. Once implemented, supported airports will automatically recognise the aircraft and connect the appropriate jetways without requiring any additional input from the user.

For an aircraft to be compatible, its doors must simply be defined correctly in the flight_model.cfg, following the documentation from Asobo. The only difference to note is that a dockable door may be of either type 0 (Main Exit) or 2 (Emergency Exit), all other door types are considered invalid. Additionally, legacy entries such as [EXITS] may result in the simulator incorrectly reporting the door type as unsupported (99).

Not true, they’re just the only ones ini is personally confirming to work out of the box.

They just needs doors properly defined in the config files

As @Tuskin38 said, it's not that other aircraft aren't compatible but that we have confirmed ours are working right away.

That being said, we have tested a few major 3rd party aircraft with variable results and we can't open their code and resolve it, so we're publishing that guide to give them the assist.

The PMDG 777 is the highest fidelity long haul add on in MSFS so I would assume this would work with this great feature.

64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

If it performs like Dubai, Heathrow, or LAX, I'm out.
