Generally I’d still say Fenix, though right now I can’t stop flying three holers, the TFDI MD11 and FSS727.

Maybe watch this Youtube video why the new PMDG 737 falls short:

I bit exaggerated in my view, but PMDG are no longer holding the crown when it comes to "study level" Airliners.

Many other developers has catched up and in many areas overtaken them, especially taking the pricing into consideration.

System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3

Some people like to get the attention when talking about PMDG airliners in a negative sense. I find it laughable that anyone can consider the VC textures in the new PMDG 737-800 to be less than acceptable. I am not interested in worn, beat up textures, so I have absolutely no need of the mod that he mentions. It is fine to mention that you prefer worn textures in your airliners, but to suggest that they are required to make the visuals acceptable is nonsense.

MD-80 and MD-11 for me 😎

I just wish the flythemaddog had more variation, including analogue gauges...

Oh dear. Writing from my phone... it's somehow posted thrice 👀

I enjoy flying the PMDG 777F and the TDFI MD11F, Ini A350 for long haul flights. I don't use time compression; I fly the actual time. Shorter range flights PMDG 738 and all the Fenix buses. Along with the Citation X and CRJ's models and the IFly 738Max. I cannot recommend the Ini A340 yet, because of the way they designed the pop out gauges.

4. I started scale modeling so I can build and paint the Revell BAE 146 w/ the Air UK decals. My first model is a TBF-1 for practice and I've actually come to realize I'm going to love doing this as a hobby

I'm with you on all points!  I returned to plastic model aircraft at Christmas when I received a model kit from my son.  I built that, loved it and now back into the hobby.  Currently building the Eduard 1/48 Spitfire VB.

I love the 146 from Justflight.

A bit?  Extraordinarily over the top, considering the fine technical details he mentions with the PMDG 737.
