Well, technically we already have the same head of state as you. No need to buy us 🙃

Ah, and Long live the King and down with his enemies!

Just to clarify: the tariffs aren't the cause of increased food prices.  Some other things, yes, but not food.  Most food in the USA is produced here, and fruits and vegetables from Latin America aren't tariffed.

Most things have gone up in price so much because of greedy and dishonest companies who do things like keep the package size the same but put less quantity in it(shrinkflation) and then have the gall to increase the price on top of that.

Agree with everything Dave, except tariffs do add to the cost of some food items, beef, chicken and coffee in particular.  These are all things I really like, can't do without coffee.  Totally agree with corporate greed and taking advantage of the American public when the opportunity arises.  Shrinkflation really sucks!  Certainly this winter won't help either.  We are deporting a lot of the migrant farm workers who do the cheap labor that most Americans don't want to do, can't blame them.  This will also raise grocery prices.

In the end, the consumer loses.

BTW, how is your weather down there in Tennessee?  Did you get hammered with the snow?

Now back to the original subject.  So cool to think these four astronauts will go further from earth than anyone before.  Reminds me a little of Apollo 8, the first manned space flight to leave Earth's gravitational orbit and eventually orbit the dark side of the moon.  True pioneers.

I was going to say that I was able to open the 60 Minutes video and watched it.  But since the thread has morphed into tariffs I'll just bow out because I have nothing to say about tariffs that hasn't already been said.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Back to topic. Isn't launch window set for this weekend?

That's the first thing I was thinking about: the mission profile looks too similar to Apollo 8 and what Apollo 13 ended up being. Artemis will also have a communications blackout when going to the far side of the Moon, right?
