If you have store bought fsfs2024:

System, Display, Graphics. Add an App. Add a Microsoft Store app (choose msfs2024 from drop down menu). GPU Performance (change Let Windows Decide to High Performance). Optimization for Windows Games ON.

So, you are making those two changes.

You're actually recommending content from an Island Sim Pilot video?

I thought you'd been around here long enough to know better.

To be fair, this one seems like a reasonable thing to try out. I get your broader point though 😄

I tried it. Didn't see any massive improvement, even when viewing the graph for spikes and smoothness. I don't think this is some magic bullet... maybe improves performance for some, but I think the majority of us will see minimal or no improvement.

Lots of hyperbole, mostly. Not usually bad advice per se, but many feel that he encourages a lot of unnecessary tweaking.

I haven't really got an opinion, haven't watched too much of it. But this seems to be the general feeling here.

I have to agree with you. Tried it and saw no significate improvement than turning off. but I already had my system optimize for the gear I use.
