KBUR Issue

Featured Replies

I like BMW KMRY and now will get KBUR.  Thanks for the heads-up.

The 2020 ORBX KSBA still uses 2d trees so I hope BMW does that one also.

Update: just got in contact with the dev and he will begin working on some fixes I brought to their attention. It really means a lot to customers when developers actually take the time to listen and respond to the feedback given. I love our community!

BMW World KBUR is a BIG upgrade compared to the outdated 2020 ORBX version. I worked at BUR for 6+ years and lived in Burbank the majority of my childhood. I just finished going through the scenery taking some screenshots of things that are missing/needs to be fixed so I can send over to the devs. For a scenery that came out of nowhere I'll gladly take this much needed rendition! Thanks BMW World! NOW.....someone PLEASE do VNY! LOL

100% with you Captain Mets!

It’s a very nice scenery which I picked up a couple days ago. No stutter or frame rate issues for me, and I have an older system:

Intel Core i7-10700K, 32GB DDR4 SDRAM 3200, RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

Side note: it’s nostalgic for me as I got my private license and did all my GA flying out of there in the late 80s and early 90s, back when it was GA friendly and had tons of single engines based on the west ramp. The FBO used to be called Tiger Air then Media Aviation and the flight schools were Bengal Air on the west side of R15 and the Pilots Co-Op on the south side near UPS ramp. We’d take off and fly over to WHP or VNY for pattern work. Also, UA once flew a scheduled B767 there from DEN (it parked on the SW corner of the cross runways with a tram to get pax to/from terminal) and watching heavy AA MD80’s take off was a hoot. Aloha flew to HNL for a few years as well. But, it’s all changed of course and you probably won’t find any singles there now. Pretty much all corporate jets. But, ahh, great memories. Loving the scenery!

I worked for an operator in the late 80s based out of Martin Aviation on the North west side, and regularly flew from the Pilots Co-op. My favorite bird there was a Warrior II, N8251B. I built a ton of hours flying her all over the place. In fact, I still frequently use that N number as my custom registration in FS2024.

Thanks dvdfab5 for the concise review. I’ll be picking KBUR based on your testimonial.

Bought it over the weekend and am very happy with it, just as I am with KMRY

I love their KMRY, and this really looks special, especially with the inclusion of the new terminal opening this year. I will have to pick this one up!

Hopefully this developer will get around to including the new terminal at KSAN that is already open.
