April 24Apr 24 I have the RealSimGear GTN750 hardware so I pop out the PMS750 onto that to supplement the lack of modern navigation avionics in the Mi-2. (Also to display a GPS altimeter in feet since everything in the helo is metric). Edited April 24Apr 24 by STK

Ridiculous, the aircraft has been in development since 2023, with the devs outlining that they utilized 3D scans of a real Mi-2 they had access to, plus their own recordings of said aircraft.

Well, my bad... The model for Xp is great too ... and very detailed. By "port" I didn't mean - copy ! Just thinking that the developer might be the same, which appears to really not be the case ... Overall, I’ve yet to find a helo review of Belatu’s where I’d feel like he steered me wrong. 🤙 The only thing I find overtly disappointing is the lack of ANY radio nav other than ADF(!). From DCS Russian helos, I do realize that’s genuinely a thing, but still, at least an optional 430 would be greatly appreciated (à la Just Flight 😁) * I normally don’t care about free updates, but only if I’ve gotten use in the original sim. I just don’t fly v2020 any longer, so… I'm in the same case, I do not have MSFS2020 on my computer anymore, and some kind of technical issues can get really irritating to me. That's why I prefer to wait for the actual MSFS2024 version, just to be on the safe side... 🙂

May 3May 3 Author New video by Command T (irl atp and other creds… 🙂). One thing I’ll say is the guy has no filter, so what he says is what he really believes - no sugar coating 🤙 He's especially critical of helos in MSFS (preferring DCSW by far) TL,DR: handles extremely well in v2024. He does feel the flight model is too dampened in anti-torque (yaw). Now, I’ll personally take overdampened to flying a twitchy kite every day of the week 😎👍 So, this gives further confidence that it’ll be added to my hangar — which I’d do today if the upgrade to v2024 was included. @Digital Aeronautics 🙂🤙
May 3May 3 I'm a Dodosim fan (yeah I know, it's ancient times) and I used to fly the Huey and Mi-8 in DCS. Looks like Mi-2 is THE rotary wing to get for FS2024? The gauges are very crisp, thumbs up! Edited May 3May 3 by Simicro FS2024
May 22May 22 Author Looks like the official 2024 announcement has been made. TL,DR:2024 compatibility update is free and coming in June. Full Native 2024, with new 2024 features, coming later WITH an upgrade fee.@Digital Aeronautics, as an exclusively v2024 player, I have to say this is rather disappointing.I’d really love to give you money now and support the project, but since I never got any use out of this in v2020, I can’t justify paying for it once today and then paying for it twice for v2024.FWIW: I happily paid for the PMDG upgrades, but that was because I had gotten literally years worth of use of those addons in v2020. The same idea is definitely not in play here.“Digital Aeronautics announced that the Mil Mi-2 Hoplite for MSFS 2020 will get MSFS 2024 compatibility in June. The update will be available at no additional cost and will include the following. All fixes to MSFS-2020 version (v. 1.1.0)3D fixesDecrease of inverted cone of the rotor,Setting the rotor brake handle to upright positionAdding realistic twitching of the gyro-magnetic compassFlight model tuningFixing of bugs in MSFS-2024:Double avatarSound issuesNight lightingFlight model tuningMSFS-2024 SDK compatibility features related to 3D, lighting and walk-around modeA fully native MSFS 2024 version will be released later this year. It won’t be a free upgrade, but owners of the MSFS 2020 version will get a discount. It’ll include the following.Full walk-around mode;Exterior interaction and ground maintenance;Custom tablet;Cockpit and exterior customization options;New modifications.”
May 22May 22 The MSFS 2024 stock rotorblades are very very easy to fly.In this video the guy is constantly moving the stick to hover which is 👍I like very much the VC and the gauges! My understanding is that a native MSFS 2024 version will be available in June and there will be a paid upgrade for new features that will come later? They’re even going to refine the flight model, too! 🙂All that will be free, and is estimated for June.THEN they buckle down and do all the v2024 optimizations & new features to convert it to v2024 Native. That will release later this year, and will cost extra money. Sadly, since they’re not giving any clues as to the upgrade fee, I can’t even consider it. 🤷♂️
