May 15May 15 Commercial Member New Flyby- Chase-World and Tower/Spotter cameras for both user aircraft and AI aircrafts.
May 17May 17 I use my XBox controller with it and I switch between cockpit in my user aircraft and either flyby - chase - world \ tower/spotter cameras with a button click. It also support keyboard shortcuts for all new cameras.
May 17May 17 Seems like a good, low cost alternative to Chaseplane, for people who primarily want Flyby views but not necessarilly the other stuff that comes with CP.That would be me then. May 17May 17 As with Chaseplane it doesn't make changes to the default MSFS camera system, it just adds Flyby- Chase(new) - World and Tower/Spotter cameras
May 17May 17 Hey Roar, I just bought your tool. When I'm not flying VFR or building airport scenery, spotting is one of my fav MSFS usage. Still discovering and experimenting features of Spotty, and for now really enjoy it! Thanks! Vincent B. May 18May 18 Hey Roar,I just bought your tool. When I'm not flying VFR or building airport scenery, spotting is one of my fav MSFS usage. Still discovering and experimenting features of Spotty, and for now really enjoy it! Thanks!Did yoy mean Spotty or Spotty26? Spotty26 is the one that is using the new Camera APIs that came with MSFS2024 SU5. I use ithe new camera with me XBox and it cant be easier. A whole new experience.
May 18May 18 I mean Spotty26. As I have zero experience of the previous version, I can't really see the difference with the "new Camera API".Talking about Camera system, when using my Xbox Controler (PC Windows) I have the feeling control are reversed. Not very intuitive to set the tower camera for example. I have also to understand the "spotties" feature and how to be sure to record the tower position to avoid to reset it at every launch. May 19May 19 Can I map a joystick button to change to fly-by or tower view?I didn't find a way to make direct and specific joystick assignment from Spotty26. May be others simmers here ? Vincent B. May 21May 21 Author Commercial Member Hi,I have a ready built Spotty26 v1.3with improved Traffic Board for AI, should work for all AI injectors even if not all of them provide all info.bug fixesadded joystick handling so Cameras canbe configured to any joystick, i.e. Flyby with a joystick buttonbefore I send it out to everyone that has the older version, I would like a few volunteers who have an older version to just verify that it works.Send me an email via: https://flightsim4fun.com/support Edited May 21May 21 by rksoftware

May 22May 22 I'm assuming that if you're tracking an AI aircraft it eventually despawns, right? I wouldn't be able to track an AI flight from start to finish in the background while I work. Or am I wrong with that assumption?
May 22May 22 I have the same assumption as the tracked AI aircraft will leave - at some point - your virtual bubble of active objects. You would have to follow the AI with your own aircraft to keep an eyes on it ;) Vincent B. May 22May 22 Author Commercial Member With Spotty (NOT Spotty26) you can follow an ai aircraft from depature to arrival the whole way, see this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuXNCbG5xiU&t=569s
May 25May 25 I wonder why this happens w/ Flyby. It's the only plane I use doing this, IFly B738M, and yet in regular external default cameras it's fine: Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.
