Panning Stutters Galore today

Featured Replies

Well I have turned down a lot of my settings and noticed that today there are quite a bit of panning stutters happening in the sim with SU5. Anybody else experiencing this? Post a lot of fluctuations with the fps.

Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

Yes. SU5 has been a problem with performance and clouds detail degrade.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

If your using frame gen, switch the frame gen setting to FSR3 (even if you have a NVIDIA card). I am on a 4090 and was getting these micro stutters when panning even with vsync on in the NCP like I always have had. Then the YT guy I follow, IslandSimPilot happened to mention that the latest driver from NVIDIA was supposed to fix this exact problem that people have been talking about. Well, it did not. As soon as I set frame gen to FSR3, it was back to smooth.

I did several days ago flying into EBBR which I surmised was server overload and since then totally fine.

Lol just like when SU5 was released for 2020! It’s like poetry it rhymes.
