Last month in St Lucia, I boarded a BA 777 as it was being refuelled; crew made a point in the PA of saying seat belt signs were off as aircraft was being refuelled.If anything, is completely unrealistic to remove the stairs; how would crew, cleaners etc be able to evacuate? Monday at 11:20 AM4 days no havnt had this issue is that that if i call the refuel truck first, the loading will not start until the refuel has finished, and if i call boarding first the fuel truck will not arrive till boarding has finished. You will get an announcement by the cabin crew to NOT fasten your seatbelts until refueling is finished and then seabelts signs will be turned on only after this is the case.
