Complete totality looks to be closer to Spain based on the map posted above.

I only remember vividly one solar eclipse (cant remember when though) and it was a very eery feeling to have darkness for several minutes during the daytime.

Looking forward to some of the photographs that will be taken around the world for this event. A number of us here in the forums are avid photographers.

The eclipse is total over the western edge of Iceland, northern Spain, and the island of Mallorca.

Thank-you to those who left respectful and logical comments. This was the first thing that appears in Google when I search whether it will be visible for others (I happen to live within the sphere of influence of the partial eclipse, so will be sitting on a hill with my magic glasses, and a can of IrnBru).

I am glad to hear people from around the world will digitally be able to experience this moderately rare event (and even more rare with how publicised it is!)
