Hello, Hello, how do you use this function, currently in transatlantic flight to Paris, I fly with an acceleration in x4, it is not the first time I use it and it works well as long as x8 on the 777 is not used When you approach your TOD, I guess you go back to x1 like me, but do you go back to real-time conditions? Current time and weather conditions up to date? Thanks

I take off and generally hand fly to 10000ft then somewhere between 10000/20000ft I use 2x till cruise then 4x until 20nm before TOD. Then I go back to 1x for the rest of the flight.

I only fly with the 24 hours historic weather.

What do you mean "go back to real time conditions"? If I use live weather, I'll still have live weather, but the sim-time is x hours later. I'll not change back the time, why would I? I land at the time the actual flight lands too, so x hours later.

Same for historical weather, weather from x hours later then.

So I depart at the correct time using the 24 hour historic weather, which also speeds up with the time compression. So when I fly the time is in the past. Does that make more sense?

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I wasn't even aware that there's a working time jump feature in MS2024. How do you turn it on ?

I have time acceleration bound to insert to speed up and delete to speed down and I use a little app from flight sim.to which lets me know what the acceleration is set too.

PMDG and inibuilds you can manage it through the efb

Sim rate bandit is the one I’ve used.

Any jetliner flight longer than an hour I will generally use rate 2x or 4x for cruise depending on distance. In GA I'm usually cruising at lower altitude, and don't use any acceleration because I am enjoying the scenery.
